SO WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT THEN?...

Bunker Mentality and Northern Golfer have joined forces to offer one young golfer the opportunity to become a golf journalist for a season. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the game, not just playing it, but also watching it, talking about it, and living it.

Every fortnight, the winner will be required to write a diary/blog/article that will be published on the site. Consider it an open opportunity to have your very own golf diary published on the best golf magazine website in the country.

To make sure the winner has plenty to talk about; we will be sending them off to whole host of different courses, events, and competitions, including The Open (accompanied by a parent of guardian). With a pen and paper in one hand, and a Northern Golfer press pass in the other we will be relying on the lucky individual to report back to the masses.

As the winner will be representing Northern Golfer and Bunker Mentality, the Nottingham based fashion label will also become the winners’ official sponsor for the year, making sure they always look the part.

Who can enter?

Anyone under the age of 16, who has a passion about the game of golf.

How to enter?

To get the ball rolling we need an example of your work. So we would like you to write an article, no more than 500 words, about anything to do with golf. It could be about a round of golf played recently, or a piece of equipment that you own, or even about watching the Masters on TV.

Bunker Mentality and Northern Golfer will choose the winner, and post their article on the site as the first entry in the diary/blog.
